Endangered Comanche Springs Pupfish

We are so very excited to let our peeps know that Texas Wild captured its 4th endangered species on film. The Comanche Springs Pupfish is found only in and around the springs in Balmorhea. Sneak a quick peek at the Pupfish (and upcoming station break on Panhandle PBS) and other species below.
The Pupfish is labeled in the video for easy identification!

  1. Good video. I would have liked to read a little more about the pupfish.
    I enjoy the Texas Wild spots on PBS. They are well done and informative. Looking forward to your first 30-60 minute Texas Wild special (as if you don’t have enough on your plate).

  2. I love the vivid close ups of these fish.. You really get to see how they move and their colors. Loved it guys I was jealous of the snorkeling! Lol
