Common gray fox (Urocyon cinereoargenteus):

  • • Widespread in U.S.
  • • Known for their tree-climbing ability
  • • Forelegs can rotate more than those of other canids
  • • Occur in forests to desert scrub
  • • Males up to 15 lbs.
