This photo was taken following a storm in northwest Oklahoma.  There is little more beautiful than the prairie following a storm and this gnarled old elm is one of the favorite trees I’ve met!

Got to love a black-crested titmouse – if they sit still long enough to photograph!

  2. Wish the elm could tell us its story, when I see an old homestead fighting against the elements I always think about what life was like when it was someone’s home and children were playing in the yard.
